Using your sense of smell to relax

Helping your body to relax after a stressful day, or a long work week is a great habit for good overall health. The ability to relax your mind, body, & senses is essential to healing. Our bodies mainly repair themselves while we sleep, so getting relaxed before bed can even promote better skin.

The following scents are most commonly voted as the most relaxing:

Vanilla- naturally makes people feel at ease, the scent is soothing, and promotes good sleep

Lavender- the essential oils in lavender are naturally calming, and increases drowsiness

Scent of baked goods-who doesn’t love baked goods and their comfort inducing smells

Cucumber- the clean, fresh scent is said to reduce anxiety and increase relaxed feelings

Which scent do you find most relaxing?
