Smart Snacking

Snacking is often the downfall to any diet or eating plan one might have set up. Snacks seem to be the easiest way to derail an otherwise good eating day. So having good snacking options ready and in mind are key to curbing your hunger in a healthy way.

Have you ever tried kale chips? Sure, they’re green and perhaps a little odd looking. But they’re healthy, nutritious, and downright delicious!

Kale Chips

1 bunch of any kind of kale
1 TBS Vinegar (apple cider, white, etc.)
3 TBS olive oil
Sea salt

Preheat oven to 150 C.

Wash kale and tear leaves into bite sized pieces. Discard stems. Dry in salad spinner or on a towel.

Combine olive oil and vinegar in a small bowl and pour over kale. Use hands to gently coat the kale with dressing.

Spread a single layer on baking sheet, sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 10-15 minutes. Flip leaves once during cooking. Cool enough to eat and enjoy!
