At Bronzalicious, we’re big fans
of eating foods that fuel our bodies in a healthy way. We’ve come to learn that
salads are one of the best ways to pack a whole lot of nutrition into just one
meal because the topping choices and combinations are endless! Certain foods boost
the absorption of others, and work well in pairs. We love to use salads to our
advantage in this way and combine foods that taste great and fuel our bodies
best.
This is a perfect sized salad to
pack for a weekday lunch or double the recipe and make a picnic lunch for two
this weekend!
Skin
Healthy Salad: Baby Kale & Blackberries
2 cups of kale
½ cup of blackberries
¼ avocado, thinly sliced
2 oz ricotta cheese
Handful of dried almonds (plain
or honey)
For
the dressing:
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
Salt & pepper
Whisk dressing ingredients
together and pour over your salad.
