They come from many causes, sleep deprivation, genetic
inheritance, or just a long rough night, but at one time or another we’ve all
had a few dark under eye circles hang around. Dark under-eye circles have the
ability to age even the youngest face, which is why they’re one of the top woes
in the beauty world to this day.
The skin under and around our eyes is the thinnest skin on
the body. This also means that it’s transparent enough for the blood vessels to
show through.
Avoiding
alcohol and cigarettes are always a great bet when it comes to your skin
health, and avoiding under-eye circles is no exception. If you’re looking for
an under eye cream be sure to look for one containing caffeine because it
constricts the blood vessels under your eye.
If you’re wanting
to cover them with concealer, look for one in an apricot tone that is a shade
lighter than the color your skin tone. The yellow tone of the concealer works
to cancel out the purple under the eye. Ensure you use a concealer with a
creamy texture, avoid powder as it simply settles into the fine lines around
your eyes-making things worse.
