Mistakes happen. When you’ve just spilled a bold colored nail polish on the floor, it probably seems like things can’t get much worse. If you’re stuck in this clean up situation, don’t despair, here’s how to handle it:

Absorb as much of the polish puddle with a paper towel as possible-ensure you’re blotting not rubbing, which will set it in and spread it around.

Then get an old towel and blot the carpet using some acetone remover on the towel. If you’ve gotten the stain saturated with the acetone, use a dry part of the towel to press hard atop the stain. Ideally a lot of the color will be extracted thanks to the acetone treatment.

Once the towel isn’t picking up colour any longer, use a traditional carpet cleaner to finish things off.

2014’s Makeup Trends

Petal pink lids- a light pink eye shadow, no liner, and mascara gives an amazing soft ethereal look.

There is something so lovely about a pair of chocolaty brown eyes. So sweet and seductive, you should play into that! Here are a few eye shadow options that are perfect for the brown eyed beauties out there.

Because your brown eyes are mix of all the primary colors, you’re lucky to have lots of option! For a fun change, a vibrant blue shadow (like cobalt blue) will bring out the richness in dark brown eyes, and will really help them to pop.

Try applying eggplant colored mascara next time you’re headed out for the night. The purple shade enhances your brown eyes and makes the whites of your eyes look whiter. Other great options include green, gold, or copper shadow. The warm metallic colors make brown eyes glisten and highlight a hint of sparkle.

To begin: Fill half your bathtub with warm water. Add 1 cup of Epsom salts and 1 cup of apple cider vinegar to the water. This combination will draw dirt and grime from your pores and also works to relieve joint pain.

Try lighting a candle and dimming the lights to increase your level of relaxation. Ahhh, does a body good.
